ALSB Regional Associations are independent and separate legal entities from the American Business Law Association, Inc. d/b/a the Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB); the ALSB assumes no liability for and exercises no control over actions and policies of the regional organizations.

We hope this message finds our ALSB and CALSB friends and their loved ones well. CALSB is the Canadian Academy of Legal Studies in Business representing the Canadian regional of the ALSB. We are reaching out to as many prior attendees as possible in order to provide a CALSB related updated.

In light of COVID the April 2020 Toronto conference had to be cancelled on short notice. As for 2021, while evident an in-person conference (at least to be held in late April/early May) was not an option, we also determined we did not possess the personnel and technical know how to run a full on-line conference in lieu of an on-site conference (an option that the ALSB and some regionals have pursued) during that same time.

However, we did conclude that it was important to attempt to hold an annual meeting this year.  CALSB will be holding an annual meeting online on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 beginning at 2:00 pm EST.  We anticipate the meeting will run from 60-90 minutes.

It is important for us to KNOW who is planning to virtually attend. The deadline to register for the meeting is Friday, April 9, 2021. You can register by EMAILING  your desire to BE part of the meeting TO If you have received a prior notice directly and already responded, there is no need to re-affirm your attendance. After the deadline we will send further information INCLUDING a link for meeting participation.

With Thanks,
