I am happy to announce that registration for the online MAALSB regional conference is now open! The conference will be held online on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 9am-5pm EST. As the scheduler of the event, I will schedule anyone attending from a non-EST time zone at a time convenient for you. The deadline to register is February 19, 2021. This year, we welcome ALL types of presentations: academic papers, pedagogy pieces, statements on personal impacts of the pandemic, panels, etc. There is a nominal fee of $24 to attend the conference. The Midwest Academy of Legal Studies in Business (MALSB) Annual Conference is held in conjunction with the MBAA international Conference, long billed as “The Best Conference Value in America.” The MBAA International Conference draws hundreds of academics from business-related fields such as accounting, business/society/government, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, health administration, information systems, international business, management, and marketing. Although the MALSB will have its own program track on legal studies, attendees will be able to take advantage of the multidisciplinary nature of this international conference and attend sessions held by the other program tracks. The 2021 conference will be held March 24-26. Details to follow!

The 2021 PSWALSB hybrid conference will once again be in sunny Palm Springs, California, February 12-15 at the Hilton Palm Springs Resort. Conference attendees will have the opportunity to present their papers and earn between 6-7.5 hours of CLE credit. Attendees also qualify for a discount hotel stay at the Hilton Palm Springs Resort if you decide to attend in person. The Western Academy of Legal Studies in Business (WALSB) is a regional division of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB) and primarily covers the states of California and Northern Nevada.  The next WALSB annual conference will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 8am until 5pm and will be in a virtual format.  The University of Nevada, Reno College of Business will be sponsoring the event again this year.  There will be multiple sessions for academic presentations, social events, guest speakers, and award presentations.  We are looking forward to having engaging discussions and opportunities to network with colleagues from across the country.  Please direct all questions to John Nolan at
